Official contest results are available, but will not be posted on the website.  Results will gladly be discussed with each participating team.  While this event is a competition, of course, it is not a sport.  This is an academic endeavor, and the goal is to gain as much knowledge as possible. It was clear in judging that each team gained pretty much equally in terms of growth.

The top 3 teams, point-wise, were:

1. Terracures, Belmont NH (334 pts)

2. Epicville, Wilson Middle School, Natick MA (323 pts)

3. Salveo Civis, Epping, NH (321 pts)

The organizers are well aware that some teams are newer to the contest, or that some teams have more school time or more students dedicated to working on the projects (or just simply better resources).  We are also aware that teams are of different ages and some teams speak English as their second language.

Here are some honors we would like to offer that are not straight out of a rule book:

Most Family Friendly City:  Central Square (Umana Middle School Grade 6)

Coolest Medical Device Idea:  The coolest was undoubtedly Terracures' Norkiewicz 79 Laser Treatment with the Aerotek Bed, a seemingly sure-fire method of fighting cancer, but a close runner-up is the Zeliotopolis Artificial Prothesis (ZAP), created by the Monument Valley Middle School in Great Barrington, MA

Most Imaginative City: Kuu Linn (Birchland Park), which is located on the Europa moon of Jupiter - not only did their city need to overcome the most challenges because of their difficult location, but this model also had the best use of scale and is the best crafted of the models.

Most Futuristic City: The pyramid-rich world of Zeliotopolis

Best Story of True Teamwork: Central Ragey Ville (Umana Middle School Grade 8)

Most Fashionable: Salveo Civis (Epping, NH) for their amazing T-shirts

Rookie of the Year: Hoodyville (Spirit of Knowledge Academy, Worcester MA)
